As April Begins

All Fools day, and by my gate the Magnolia tree is abundant with promise. Its blooms like chalices, pink tinged and pointed at the sky. Such delicate beauty, still serene in the blustery wind of March's last breath. Soon there will be perfume to touch all who enter here, sweet scent at my gate, as April begins...

You know, Susannah, you really can write. I hope you know that. This reminds me of the stunning descriptive prowess that we see in Victorian poetry. So full of richness and promise. I can actually see it. Thank you for the visual feast.

Thank you for visiting my NaPoWriMo journey. I came looking for you and found magnolias. You do nature well, and proud.
