The land has been whitewashed overnight, the early morning light has a gloss white glare, illuminating golden yellow curtains and prewarning me of the change that has been wrought outside of my window. Huge flakes swirl in random patterns sculpted by the blustery wind.

It is still on the ground and it looks like a winter wonderland out there! We haven't had any more though some was forecast.
