Dead tree, stark and sculptural, an exclamation mark against the opaque sky. Such a contrast against the vivid living greens. Death amongst life - just as it should be.

Hi Susannah.
I loved your '...exclamation mark against the opaque sky.'
It reminded me of the painter Bob Ross, and his 'bravery test' when he was painting a scene. He used to paint a big black tree in the foreground of his painting and say it was a 'bravery test'. He loved nature too. :-)
Hi Paul, I love the Bob Ross reference, my tree actually sounds like one of his! :-)
Great to see you.
