December Again

Stepping out silently on icy feet December arrived. I was too busy juggling words to notice his swift approach. He bought with him a thin white blanket of snow and threw it far and wide covering the landscape. But outside of my window the blackbird and its golden beak still found the crimson berries and swallowed them whole.

Great imagery, Susannah.

I hope the weather's getting better for you over there. Apparently you have the winter we should be having; weird. :-)

Hi Paul, yes, not quite so bad here today, temperatures were above freezing but tomorrow night it's set to plummet to minus 5 again!

Thanks for visiting, it is always good to see you. :-)
