Two Cats

The soft rhythmic purring of a sleeping cat makes a perfect soundtrack to the start of my day. Cat two, jumps up to join us and slips - an acrobatic golden blur as he tumbles. Instinctively I reach out my hands to catch that ball of claw and fur. Crimson rivulets flow into the deeply etched lines of my rescuing hands. Cat safe and nonchalent, walks away.

Oh dear... not easy being slave to a cat or cats. True Love ?

Hi Barbara - Yes, I am a willing slave. :-) True love? - without doubt!

They're so ungrateful. And we love them anyway. :-)

Hi Jennifer - No, I don't think they understand the concept of gratefullness!

Which is probably why we love those little self contained bundles of fur, they are what they are.

They have no need to please, or to have approval, they just go on being their unaffected, beautiful feline selves. :-)
