Everything Moves
The sun fell so quickly tonight. Streaking the watercolour sky with skeins of the softest yellow. Silhouettes appear in the big old tree. The jackdaws are coming home to roost.

Lovely words, thanks for sharing the moment.
Thanks for visiting Mark, it is good to meet you. :-)
Susannah, captured a wonderful sunset myself, this evening. We are on the same wavelength. That makes me smile with warmth. Love your observation, and thanks so much for the comments on my site,
Elizabeth
Wonderful alliteration in that second sentence. Love 'skeins of the softest yellow' too.
Thanks Elizabeth and earlybird. x
Hi Susannah.
Beautiful description esp 'skeins of the softest yellow'
Also, I adore your new background. particularly as I've just taken some photos of the river running through my town...you must be on same wavelength as me too!
Hi Mari, good to see you and I'm glad we are on the same wavelength. :-)
Thank you for popping over to visit me and introducing yourself -I had not found you before but will certainly be back as I am enjoying your wonderfully descriptive stones. Love the header picture too.
I just wanted to say what a beautiful design you have for your blog now, Susannah.
bythewobblydumdumtree, it is good to meet you. :-)
Paul, I am glad you like it. ;-)
Thanks very much both of you.
That "so quickly" really stands out for some reason. I like how you're pairing quotes with your observations, it adds yet another beautiful layer.
Thanks Joseph. :-)
Thanks for visiting, it is good to meet you.
I love this small stone! And I like the way that you add a quote to each post. :D
Thanks very much Susan. :-)
