Rain bounces from the shiny wet pavement. Dynamic water droplets leaping back up into the waiting air. Branches bend and glossy leaves act as funnels - channelling the water down into kinetic puddles, where the frenetic water continues to dance.

Heavy rain - its own rock band! I've been experiencing it here in CO, USA, too! Keep dry and have a great weekend.
Thanks Barb, and thanks for visiting too. It is good to see you here. :-)
It's like the drops struggle to get back to the sky from which they fell...
That is just what I thought Jinksy! :-)
Love the rhyme of kinetic and frenetic. Captures the image, the sound, and the movement.

Thanks Elizabeth. :-)
I really like your style of Captured Moments here, Susannah. Like haibun, but with quotations instead of haiku. Intriguing.
Thanks very much Mark. :-)
Good to see you here.
