Where I Am
Clock ticking, marking time as night shadows darken. In the mirror of my uncovered window, I see the reflection of my lamp lit room. On the other side of the glass, a tiny moth flutters. . .

I like this vivid imiagevery much.
Thanks earlybird. :-)
I like the calmness of NOW that you've created with your words.
Susannah - The essence of haiku in your own words - PAY ATTENTION TO THE MOMENTS - LIFE IS A SUCCESSION OF MOMENTS - THE MOMENTS ARE YOUR LIFE. Haiku brings you to a focus on small things in the moment, usually in nature, a butterfly, some dandelion fluff, birdsong at daybreak, a squirrel in the shadows of a tree - all these things, and far more, make up beautiful parts of life when you can narrow your focus. The ugly things in life will happen, but they don't mean as much when you are in tune with how you interpret and experience nature.
Your friend,
Warren
Absolutely love your new banner. Want very much to walk into it and stay for a while. And am intrigued at how your brief description brings the Budda quote to life with its immediacy. Wonderful marriage of words and thoughts,
Elizabeth
I shall return daily. Your stones inspire me.

Warren, thank you so much for more about Haiku, I appreciate it. :-)
Elizabeth, I am glad you liked the new banner I did it on the spur of the moment and I like it too. I can actually visit the place where I took the photo and walk into that picture for you. :-)
Kim, thank you. It is always good to see you. x
Inside and outside - each visible to the other through transparent glass - a wholeness...
